E-Resource tool: Leganto

Leganto is within Brightspace and supports creating and managing course material reading lists. Instructors can build, maintain, and share resource lists that include all material types in a single list so that students can access all their course materials in one place. 

What type of items can be added to the list?

  • Articles (online or scanned in)
  • Books (e-books or e-chapters)
  • Lecture Notes
  • Recorded lectures
  • Streaming media
  • Other websites
  • Other digitized material

What are the Benefits of using E-Reserves?

  • Reduced workload for instructors
    • Reading lists can be saved and reused across semesters
    • The ability to create multiple reading lists in draft form allows instructors to work at their own pace
    • Autonomy in developing, changing, updating, and saving course lists
