Searching for career Information

Keyword selection

Searching for career information can be a little tricky. When searching for books on careers your might start out with general search terms such as "business careers", most of our books will discuss many different job titles for individuals with a Business related degree.

When searching a library database for articles, have a specific job title in mind. "Auditor" or "financial planner" will work better in the library databases than "business careers". You will also want to combine your job title with other phases such as "employment growth" or "career trends" to find articles about the career aspects of your choose profession.
