The Joanna Briggs Institute Database provides access to over 3,000 records across seven publication types:

Evidence Based Recommended Practices, Evidence Summaries, Best Practice Information Sheets, Systematic Reviews, Consumer Information Sheets, Systematic Review Protocols, and Technical Reports.  For detailed information, go to the publication types tab on this guide.

In addition to these publication types, the database provides the following EBP Tools:

JBI Journal Club, JBI RAPID, JBI SUMARI, JBI Manual Builder, JBI Pamphlet Builder, JBI PACES, JBI POOL, JBI TAP,  and JBI CAN–IMPLEMENT.  For additional information on accessing the tools, go to the JBI Tools tab on the library guide.

To access the Joanna Briggs Institute Database, one must use the links on the library's home page or on a library guide.  When searching for Joanna Briggs on the internet, you will reach the Joanna Briggs Institute website, which does not provide full text access to publications and is different from the database.  To access the database, go to the library's home page and select the databases link.

The Joanna Briggs Institute is provided by OVID/Wolters Kluwer and that will be visible in the top corner of the database interface.  Above the search box, it will state "The Joanna Briggs Institute EBP Database."
