What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a free service, for our current PNW Students (Undergrad & Grad), Faculty, Staff, and official retirees,  that allows us to borrow materials that we do not have in our collection, such as books, copies of journal articles, and book chapters from other libraries throughout the country or worldwide.

What can be borrowed?

  • Articles
  • Newspaper on Microform
  • Government Documents
  • Conference Proceedings
  • Technical Reports                                        

Harder to find items, but can still be requested

  • Bound journal volumes or entire issues of journals
  • eBooks
  • Dissertations and Theses
  • Reference books
  • Rare books
  • Sound recordings
  • Textbooks or required reading materials for PNW courses
  • Videos
  • Genealogical resources
