University of California/Los Angeles | Will need the RFBP cand and current faculty ID from their home institution. Will issue an Access-only library card. |
University of California/San Diego | Registration forms with the required verification information in advance, but we can also manage that when they are onsite. |
University of Chicago | Tenured or tenure-track faculty members at OCLC Institutions are eligible for quarterly borrowing privileges at the University of Chicago Library. These borrowing privileges allow up to 25 items checked out at a time. The loan period is an academic quarter and patrons can renew up to 3 times. To establish privileges, individuals must obtain an OCLC Faculty Borrowing Card from their institution's library. Then, visit the ID & Privileges Office and present their school ID and a government-issued photo ID along with the OCLC Faculty Borrowing Card. We also now require proof of the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone accessing the library. More details on the COVID-19 policy are here. |
University of Delaware | Contact with info for the registration card. The reciprocal card will be issued for a year and is not transferable and is only available for full-time faculty members. |
University of Guelph | The requirement that faculty participating in the OCLC Reciprocal Borrowing program must meet is a letter from their home institution (the library or the department) on official letterhead that verifies that they have permission to participate. The letter should also state how long they'll be conducting research so that we can update the borrowing period accordingly. If they would like to utilize our archival materials, there is a separate process, and they should e-mail that department directly to coordinate a visit. |

University of Kansas | To establish borrowing privileges for circulating collections at the University of Kansas, the person may present the OCLC card and complete an application form on-site. We also ask to see the faculty ID card and a government-issued photo ID and request payment of $20 for one year of borrowing. A person may complete this process at the Watson Library Checkout Desk; see location and hours information. Please note that if the person is primarily interested in research at Kenneth Spencer Research Library (Special Collections, University Archives, Kansas Collection) there is a separate registration process; see KSRL. |
University of Kentucky | UK's Circulation Desk will set up an account in the system, and then be able to check out books from the library. Same privileges as our Community Borrowers – 10 books for 28 days with 2 renewals. |
