What Is Academic Libraries of Indiana

The Academic Libraries of Indiana (ALI) agree to extend in-person borrowing privileges to current faculty, staff, and students of member institutions. This agreement between libraries allows each other's patrons to check out materials at the participating libraries.  

The goal of the program is to promote, enhance, and facilitate research, teaching, and learning in Indiana academic institutions.

 

Eligibility

Current faculty, staff, and students in good standing with the PNW Library may be granted borrowing privileges at participating libraries. 

To get a card Stop by the library's front desk with your

  • PNW ID
  • Government-issued ID
  • Fill out the application form
  • You will be given an "ALI" card 

 

PNW Students/Faculty/Staff visiting other libraries

The PNW member will need a signed ALI Borrowers Card from the PNW Library, their PNW ID, and a government-issued photo ID with a current address, such as a driver's license.

Borrowing privileges are determined by each lending library which may provide shorter or different loan periods from those available at the individual's home library. Other restrictions may also apply. Most of the libraries will issue you a Library card for their library.
