History of Pandemics

Pandemics have occured throughout human history. This guide will provide links to information about the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, past pandemics, the science behind containment, and the human response.

This library service allows current Purdue Northwest faculty, students, and staff to borrow materials not owned by our library.

Tipasa is the cloud-based management system used for interlibrary loan requests.

In very rare cases, a fee might be required for the requested item. If this is the case, the patron will be contacted by the interlibrary loan staff for approval to proceed with the request.

Books are generally delivered within six days, and articles are generally received within a few days. Patrons are notified via email when materials are available for pick up. Electronic articles and book chapters are delivered to the patron’s Tipasa account.
