Business Resources - Westville Campus

This is a guide to resources that can be used for people beginning a major in business

Why Do We Cite?

Citation styles

There are quite a few ways to cite resources in your paper. The citation style usually depends on the academic discipline involved.

APA (American Psychological Association)  often used by Education, Psychology, and Sciences.

MLA (Modern Language Association)  typically used by the Humanities.

Chicago Style (University of Chicago Press)  generally used by History, Business, and some of the Fine Arts.

Check with your instructor to make sure that you are using the appropriate style. And whatever style you choose, be consistent!
