Most library databases have some journal articles that are available in full-text (you can access and read the full article) as well as some articles that you can only see the article information and a brief summary, or abstract.
**IMPORTANT: Never pay for an article!** If the library does not have access to an article's full text, you can place a request for it (see step 4).
Interlibrary Loan enables PNW students, faculty, and staff to access articles, books, and other items, free of charge, from other libraries.
Log in to your Tipasa Interlibrary Loan account to place a request: Hammond Campus; Westville Campus. First time users will be prompted to create an account. Distance Learners, please select Distance Ed Undergrad or Distance Ed Grad in the Status field.
Physical items will usually arrive at your campus within 10 days. Articles and book chapters typically arrive within a few business days, however it can take longer. You will receive an email notification when your item is available. Learn more on the PNW Library Services page.
