Materials not available in the Purdue Northwest library may be borrowed from other libraries (locally or nationwide) through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
ILL is a free service for PNW faculty, students, and staff. Books are generally delivered within 6 days and articles are generally received within a few days and are emailed to the borrower.
ILL requests are made online using ILLiad for which the faculty, student, or staff member must register for an ILL account. It is not our policy, however, to borrow textbooks or other required reading materials available for purchase in the bookstore.
For further information, please see details on our information page.
The regular student loan period for books is 17 weeks.
Some heavily used library materials have restricted loans. All reference books and archival materials are for library use only.
